HOW IMPORTANT IS VERSATILITY REALLY?

So Here's the thing - do we really need one guitar that will do it all or is there joy to be found in an instrument that excels in a specific role? What about if it's got all flames up it like some sort of hotrod?

When I saw this Gibson Custom Shop Firebird Acoustic hanging on the wall at The Guitar Showroom I'll admit I was drawn to it more through morbid curiosity rather than any sonic expectations but I was wrong and I can admit it.

It's a hell of a strummer. That's it. That's all it does but it does it better than most. Which is pretty cool!

Until next time, stay tuned
