I spent an afternoon with the legend that is Martin Simpson this week.

We recorded a podcast interview which will soon be launched by Fretboard Journal and after a quick restring  of his gorgeous Taran Guitar Martin started to play. 

I grabbed my camera and turned the mics around and this is the result. Every acoustic guitarist should hear this. It’s ethereal and beautiful and utterly mind blowing. haunted, swooping overtones, otherworldly textures - just incredible.
