Ever since my first encounter with a Blind Guitars instrument I have been fascinated by the Nouvelle Vintage aesthetic that luthier Virgile Pilon brings to his instruments. 

It was a pleasure to visit the Blind Guitars workshop in the picturesque town of Biarritz and spend time with Virgile. I particularly enjoyed checking out his Ditson inspired B24 model in African Blackwood and torrified Adirondack spruce.

My visit also afforded me the opportunity to learn more about Virgile's background in antique furniture restoration and vintage guitar repair which has proved to be a great foundation for his guitar making.
