I first saw a picture of the new Fender Highway Series Dreadnought a few months prior to its recent release and I have to admit that the aesthetics left me feeling cold and alone. 

It is not a pretty thing. 

As I have always said - guitar aesthetics do not matter - until they do. In fact this applies to every aspect of the instrument. 

But what does it sound like? Well, as soon as one arrived at my door I frogmarched it through the doors of my studio and did as much damage as I could.
