Catching Up With Rosie Heydenrych - Turnstone Guitars

One of the joys of a visit to the Turnstone Guitars workshop is a cup of tea and a chat with Rosie Heydenrych, the luthier behind all these beautiful instruments.

This time we filmed it (it's been a while!) as we discuss Rosie's trip to Winter NAMM 2020, more builds with rare English woods such as yew, Fenland black oak, and Monterey Cypress, our plans for the grand finale of the Holy Grail Guitar Show in Berlin, books we've been featured in and archtop guitars!

I hope you enjoy the video!

Until next time

Stay Tuned

Very entertaining and thought-provoking, Michael. Interesting to see increasing exploration and acceptance of wood species that may not have been considered in the past. The degree to which that's a side effect of CITES restrictions, or a better educated and open-minded buying public, I'm unsure.

Thanks Pete! Yes, I think that exploration of previously ignored tone woods has to be a good thing!
